Should i head out to the merseyside dunes at all?may i see some lizards lurking do we think or is it too early?

yep get out there and start looking nows the time when the weather is good

Philip,

It is a little soon...most animals are thinking about emerging, but may return, especially if we get a cool snap. Best chances at this time of year are on bright sunny days, close to lunchtime.

We'll be in full swing in a month's time or so. But having a wander and a look won't hurt, and can help to 'get your eye in' after the winter break.

Sand lizards appear in mid-March in Surrey, probably a week or two later at Sefton?
